
Portuguese Association for Person Centred Psychotherapy and
Counselling
The Portuguese Association for Person Centred Psychotherapy
and Counselling (Associação Portuguesa de Psicoterapia Centrada
na Pessoa e Counselling) is constituted by a group of associates,
coming from diversified professional scopes, such as teachers, social
workers, psychologists, general physicians and psychiatrists.
It
is the goal of this Association to get to know and develop the
theoretical model founded by Carl Rogers, usually known as Client
Centred Therapy/Person Centred Approach, of humanist inspiration and
applicable to all Human fields of concern, from Therapy to Pedagogy and
through Conflict Management and Mediation.
The activities of this
Association include: investigation, training, communitarian intervention
and the issue of a journal named The Person as Centre – Journal of
Rogerian Studies (A Pessoa Como Centro – Revista de Estudos Rogerianos).
As to this project, and precisely because it our intention that our
Journal reaches a numerous and diversified audience, we have invested on
the quality of its articles, as well as on the impact of its
presentation/image.

number of our Journal, with abstracts both in Portuguese and in English,
as well as other information that may be of interest to you.
